Easyclean Replacement Glass

Regency Glass use Signo Glassguard for the easy clean glass option. Glassguard is the strongest and most durable glass improvement system available. Once applied, a protective layer less than 100-nm thick (80,000 times thinner than a human hair) bonds with the glass to leave a smooth, anti-stain, non-discolouring surface layer.

The coating is crystal clear, UV stable, chemically inert and extremely durable, having both hydrophobic (repels water) and oleophobic (repels grease/oil) capabilities. It will not peel or flake and is unaffected by extremes of temperatures from –20°C to +350°C.

Glassguard offers a high level of performance:

Permanent bond that will not peel or flake
No reduction of light transmission
Not reliant on rainfall or UV to activate
Leaves no tint or mirror effects on the glass surface
Leaves no rainbow effect as the rainwater dries
Resists solvents, silicon, silicone removers, salt water corrosion, chemical attack including oxide corrosion by acid rain water, alkali attack from building material run offs such as concrete and plaster, fat, grease and oil products
High pressure steam cleaners may be used

Whilst no coating will make cleaning of windows obsolete, Glassguard reduces the regularity of cleaning requirements*, keeping the glass cleaner inbetween.
